Volunteering at Roberts is fun and fullfilling. Whatever your skills and time available, there is a rewarding experience waiting for you.
Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS): Contact Person: Marla Niksch, Roberts Office.
You need to go through this process before attending any field trips:
a. Register with HISD VIPS or turn in your volunteer form at the school office.
b. Take your picture ID (Driving license/passport) to the school office for a background check.
c. After 2-3 weeks the check results should be back. Once Approved, you can volunteer at any HISD school for that year. Each year, repeat steps b & c.
We are working on integrating our volunteer system with our new website. In the meanwhile, please use our legacy volunteer system on the Roberts Members Site currently in operation.
