Who We Are:

The Roberts VIPS program was recognized as being the Most Outstanding VIPS Program in HISD's Central Area. Roberts parents are involved and devote more than 4,500 hours per year to the school!

Volunteers are an essential part of our elementary school community. The volunteer program focuses on the goals of education and the task of enriching educational opportunities for children. Volunteers can and do perform many tasks for schools and children. Parents tutor students, read to classes, chaperone field trips, xerox items for various classes, serve on committes such as hospitality and fund raising, assist in landscape planning, set up computers, etc. Whatever the job selected, volunteers offer much, and effect positive change through their personal participation in the education of children.

If you are interested in becoming a school volunteer, contact the VIPS coordinator. Your interest and your involvement are always appreciated.

Parents are a vital component in Roberts success with students. Join us! We can find a job to fit your schedule and your interests.
