Ms. Tammy Harris is the Roberts librarian. In addition to this page, you may visit
Ms. Harris's SchoolNotes teacher page.
Instilling
a love of reading and encouraging students to become life-long readers
is the primary goal of the Roberts Library.
- Do you have an A or B average in reading? Are you in
third, fourth, or fifth grade? Are you interested in joining Name
that Book? If so please see Ms. Harris.
- Please continue to SAVE THOSE BOX TOPS! Box Tops for
Education is a easy fund-raiser for the library. Just cut the box
top logo off your favorite General Mills cereal and Betty Crocker
snack and send it to the library. That's all you need to do for our
school to earn money to buy books. Last year we had enough box tops
to purchase 40 books! This year our goal is 50 books or 10,000 box
tops!
- Book Fair is November 13 -15, 2007. Family Night is November 14, 2007.
- It's time to start reading those Bluebonnet books!
Students who read at least 5 Bluebonnet Books are invited to the Bluebonnet
Breakfast and vote on their favorite book. The Bluebonnet list is
due to Ms. Harris on January 11. The breakfast will be held
January 23, 2008. The Bluebonnet Luncheon is January 25, 2008.
- Library Hours: Daily 8:15-9:00 a.m. to exchange
library books beyond class time.
- Parents, the most important 20 minutes of the day,
read to your child!

- "In a very real sense, people who have read good literature
have lived more than people who cannot or will not read...It is not
true that we have only one life to lead; if we can read, we can live
as many more lives and as many kinds of lives as we wish." S.I. Hayakawa
